New exams regulator Ofqual is consulting on how it should exercise its powers and duties

The body, which was established by the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act and which will take effect from April 1 next year, has produced a consultation document, Regulating for Confidence in Standards, available at www.ofqual.gov.ukconsultation.
