Oldfather Ayrshire

30th October 1998 at 00:00
To North Ayrshire where we are pleased to note the council's press office is not falling down on the job. A photo-call was issued for yesterday (Thursday) to celebrate an extension, no less, to a nursery class at Ardeer primary - which actually opened on August 18.

The education vice-chair extolled pre-schooling in North Ayrshire as "going from strength to strength". It's good to see that Councillor Oldfather is keeping an eye on the young.
