One in a million

Train to Gain's one millionth learner is a process operator in a chemical company, the Learning and Skills Council has announced. Chris Scott, who works at William Blythe, in Accrington, has just completed his level 2 NVQ in business improvement techniques. Skills minister Kevin Brennan said: "This is a great achievement for the programme and for each of the one million people who have now gained a qualification that will help them get on at work."
