If you haven't had enough holiday fun, you'd better hurry to catch the last of The Fun Song Factory, a musical for three to eight-year-olds based on the Tempo Video series. Starring BBC Playdays stars and children from The Young Set, it will appeal to youngsters who like to sing along and laugh a lot. The show, presented by Tell Tale Productions and Abbey Home Entertainment, is at the Pleasance London, North Road, London N7, until Sunday. Bookings: 0171 609 1800.

Pilot Theatre Company's new play, Out of Their Heads, suitable for 14-year-olds and over, tells the story of a young life ebbing away as a result of drug abuse. The Wakefield-based company is touring the play to schools, colleges and public venues throughout Yorkshire and the Midlands between now and March. The National Youth Theatre is accepting applications now for new members to join the company. Open to people aged 14 to 21, members are selected on the basis of interview and audition. Those who wish to act or to be involved in stage management, lighting and sound, administration, costume-making, prop-making or stagecraft should write to the Company Manager, National Youth Theatre, 443-445 Holloway Road, London N7 6LW by February 14, stating which of the departments they wish to join and at which centre they would like to be seen (Aberdeen, Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle upon Tyne, Norwich, Truro). A Pounds 6 fee (payable to the National Youth Theatre) must accompany applications.
