Opera backstage

Scottish Opera's education department's series of opera "Unwraps" are to be open to the general public this season for the first time.

"Carmen Unwrapped" will offer opera-goers an hour-long experience of Bizet's masterpiece, involving cast, orchestra and backstage team, at the Theatre Royal in Glasgow on June 5, and the Edinburgh Festival Theatre on June 19.

Audiences will see elements of the production team's work as they prepare the stage.
