Osler called in

Douglas Osler, former head of the inspectorate in Scotland, has been summoned to Northern Ireland, his second commission in the province. Mr Osler will join a three-person inquiry team to investigate the events surrounding the sexual abuse of a pupil by a fellow pupil in a boarding school in County Down in 1992. The incident was not made public until 1999.
