TEACH IN CHINA The Council on International Educational Exchange has 100 new places available for qualified or retired teachers for the August departure of this programme. Participants teach 12-20 hours per week and run extra-curricular activities. Renewable contracts are available for 10 months and a local salary plus free private accommodation are provided by all host institutions. Closing date for applications: May 14. Applications are invited from full-time secondary teachers or administrators for the Japan Foundation's annual study tour. It includes visits to educational, industrial and cultural institutions in Tokyo, Kyoto and Hiroshima. Closing date: June 18. International flights and all direct costs (not supply cover) are met.
