Oxbridge elite: still the posh and unsporty?

I was one of those eligible for free school meals to get a place at Oxford. I had every support I could have asked for from my inner-city comprehensive - we had Latin lessons before school, and visits were arranged to colleges, I had individual lessons to prepare for the examination, and a teacher's husband gave me a lesson on French-style practical criticism.
