A practical guide aimed at widening parents' involvement in school from nursery to the sixth form has been published by the Royal Society of Arts.

"Taking a few risks" by John Bastiani is based upon an RSA study of 10 schools which developed a range of projects focusing upon involving parents more fully in their children's school work and creating a teacher-parent partnership. It evaluates the effectiveness of the initiatives and raises a number of wider issues for further discussion.
