Parents are also responsible

27th February 2004 at 00:00
Your article "Expert leader's school fails inspection" (TES, February 13) tells of a headteacher who has resigned and a mayor who has admitted that the school had to accept it was partly responsible for yobbish behaviour in the town.

One wonders if the parents resigned from their responsibilities some time ago.
