Parents count cost of summer

MOST parents expect to spend up to pound;250 keeping their children entertained this summer, but some will get through more than pound;500. On top of this, nearly half say they will spend at least pound;1,000 on their summer holiday, according to financial services group MORE TH@N.

It questioned 514 parents over the internet between June 27 and July 3.
