David Mason, principal of Amersham and Wycombe College, Buckinghamshire, will become principal of Gwent Tertiary College in April.

Gordon Phillips, principal psychologist for Glasgow City Council, becomes principal of the National Autistic Society's Daldorch House School in Catrine, Ayrshire, in March.

Christine Blowman, head of business studies and marketing at Henry Gotch comprehensive school, Kettering, Northamptonshire, has been appointed education manager for the East Midlands branch of the National Millennium Experience Company (a publicly-owned venture organising millennium celebrations, spearheaded by Government minister Peter Mandelson).
