Keith Beniston, formerly senior examiner of music at the London College of Music, is now the college's chief examiner in music, following the retirement of Audrey Sheard. Mrs Sheard continues as an active member of the college's senior team of examiners.

Pauline Wilcock, formerly head of curriculum and learning services at Lowestoft College, has joined the management team at City College Norwich as assistant principal (academic programmes).

Jeremy Melvin, a writer and lecturer on architecture and its history, has been appointed director of the Architecture Foundation. He replaces Ricky Burdett, who has moved to the London School of Economics as director of the new city policy, planning and engineering programme.
