The Workers' Educational Association Scotland is to get almost Pounds 500,000 of lottery money for a people's history project documenting life in the 50 years up to the millennium. Another Pounds 60,000 goes to Comann an Luchd-Ionnsachaidh, the Invergordon-based adult learners' organisation, for Gaelic tutors.
