Pet projects

Almost 50 per cent of households have pets, which makes them a popular theme for primary schools. On the Pet Education website you can download worksheets, leaflets and posters linked to the national curriculum. Great for individuals or groups - and with supplementary activities for the more able pupils - the sheets cover literacy, numeracy, science and PSHE for key stages 12, and can be used alone or enhanced with other material.
