Pilgrim's progress

An inspector visiting a Highland primary set the pupils a testing question. "Does anyone know what a pilgrim is?" he asked.

"He's someone who travels around a lot," a lad replied.

The inspector paused before saying: "You're partly right. But I travel around a lot too. So what is the difference between a pilgrim and me?

"The pilgrim's a good man, sir."
