(Photograph) - Place to be: Wentworth nursery school in Hackney, east London. The Government has said it created 76,000 new childcare places between April and September last year. Education Secretary David Blunket said this brings the total number of new places created since Labour came to power to 150,000. He claimed this was three times the number created by the Conservatives in their 18 years of government.
