Pupils from the aptly-named Lady Manners comprehensive, in Bakewell, Derbyshire, have been recruited to launch a scheme to teach children the value of saying please and thank you. The scheme, run by the Campaign for Courtesy, will see actors touring schools, demonstrating the importance of good manners. For details ring 01782 614407.
