(Photograph) - Hairdressing was a definite no-no for Becky Bennett, from Barry college, who has swapped a possible career as a crimper to take an NVQ level 2 course in plumbing while working for Vale of Glamorgan council. She says: "It can get quite dirty but I enjoy it." The college uses student ambassadors to encourage more girls into traditionally male-dominated areas. Full story page 4.
