Pollok House

Pollok House, the 18th-century mansion run by the National Trust for Scotland and Glasgow City Council, claims to have the only Mrs Claus in residence at this time of year. She'll be on hand to greet young visitors until Christmas Eve. The house, a favourite with school parties, will be in festive mode until the end of the Christmas holidays.

Pollok House, free to under-12s, is closed December 25 and 26 and January 1 and 2. T 0141 616 6410
