* High-level of use among teachers averaging 11.7 hours a week * An estimated 3,000 teachers can be considered regular users of email and a further 2,000 occasional users * Fifty-two per cent of schools have access to the National Grid For Learning and the Internet;

* There has been impact across management, classroom and professional development but it is on management and administration that it has been greatest;

* In the curriculum the biggest impact has been in English and literacy, even more than IT, suggesting that IT is becoming integrated into teaching and learning.
