THE PHOTOGRAPH in your article on surplus places in London is of a former Lambeth primary school. However, your article concerns itself with secondary school places.

In fact tackling surplus primary places is an entirely different issue. The sale of the school in your photograph is part of a massive project in Lambeth to address that issue - action that has been commended by the Office for Standards in Education.
