Posts still empty

Teacher vacancies have remained at last year's levels. Provisional teacher vacancy estimates show that the number of empty posts fell marginally from 1,386 in January 1994 to 1,310 in the same month this year. There was a fall of 107 in the secondary sector and a rise of 31 in primary.
