I was depressed at the punchline "I'll be a wrinkly old bag in therapy" in the First Encounters article in the First Appointments supplement (TES, January 12).

Does this young thing think that she has the franchise on being fully human becuse of her youth?

I hope the mature, experienced and, no doubt more able women with whom she comes into contact in her next teaching practice will show her a thing or two!
