The Conservatives' pre-election posters claim they would allow teachers to teach rather than shuffle paper.

Am I alone in recalling that the Conservatives are the cause of educational bureaucracy? The national curriculum, the Office for Standards in Education and the special needs code of conduct, all causes f excess bureaucracy, were inventions of the Tories when in office.

New Labour remains, I agree, far from perfect, but as I have a long memory I shall not be conned by Tory propaganda. Blair deserves another term.
