Reading The TES (June 22), a sharp-eyed colleague of mine noticed the classic spelling mistake - recieved - made in the standfirst of an article written by Dr Martin Stephen. My colleague is one of the "old guard" that is mistrustful of new technology and a great advocate of traditional learning methods that lean away from word-processing and spell-checkers. I send this email on her behalf to show that the new technology does have a use.
