pound;205m boost to after-hours learning;In brief

THE NEW Opportunities Fund, based on Lottery money, has launched a pound;205 million scheme to pay for out-of-school-hours learning. It is inviting applications from sport and drama clubs. The fund aims to develop regular schemes in half of all secondary and special needs schools and a quarter of all primaries in the UK. For enquiries ring 0845 0000121.
