Pounds 11 million fund to adapt school buildings for disabled pupils

* An Pounds 11 million fund is being made available to enable schools to adapt their buildings for disabled pupils. All mainstream schools will be eligible for support and adaptations might include sound-proofing for children with sensory impairments, or specialist furniture and IT equipment as well as the more obvious ramps and handrails.
