Prayer-room party

West Nottinghamshire College opened a multi-faith prayer room this week, celebrating the event with an eclectic mix of cultural events and culinary specialities. The opening, marked by Hindu dancing, Sikh drumming, a steel band and accompanied by Polish, Caribbean, Thai and Indian food, follows the appointment earlier this year of the college's first chaplain, Rob Hurd.
