The National Portrait Gallery and Mike Watkins, art adviser for Tower Hamlets, are working on a two-year art education programme with some Tower Hamlets primary schools. The aim is to extend the project to a wider audience in the future through teachers' workshops and follow-up material. the programme includes practical workshops including photography, sculpture and painting.
