Probationers fail to find full-time jobs (15 June)

235 primary teachers applied for a temp post in our school last week. They also applied for every vacancy in our LA. The majority of the applicants are experienced former probationers with up to four years' experience. These teachers have been unable to secure permanent positions, which is an absolute waste of talent. They should be considered before probationers.
