PSE - Police catch up with Glow

3rd April 2009 at 01:00

Lothian and Borders Police has become the first force to communicate with schools using Glow, the intranet for Scottish schools.

Keeping Yourself Safe, four short podcasts featuring Chief Superintendent Terry Powell, will be transmitted to all schools in Midlothian and East Lothian through Glow. They are aimed at P5-6 and provide guidance about going out, strangers and what to do if you get lost.

Last week, 15 classes from Midlothian took part in a Glow video-conference, during which they asked questions about the podcasts through a video link with Superintendent Jacqueline Conway.
