SMP PURE MATHEMATICS STUDENT'S BOOK. The School Mathematics Project. Cambridge University Press. pound;14.95

This volume brings together six units from the well-known SMP 16-19 A-level course - Foundations, Introductory calculus, Functions, Problem-solving, Mathematical methods and Calculus methods. It retains the guiding principle that the material should be actively worked through rather than passively read.

Task sheets and case studies are incorporated. A linked resource pack features further case studies and review sheets - all with answers and explanatory comments.

As a single source for the pure content of these syllabuses and a challenging, relevant workbook for the independent student there can be few texts which offer better value.
