Putting on the Blitz

The Imperial War Museum has organised the following courses at Pounds 20 per session: "Together: a multi-cultural approach to teaching the Second World War" for key stage 2-4 teachers will be held on July 9, "The Home Front 1939-1945" for KS 2-3 on July 10, and "The First World War" for KS3 on July 11.

Throughout the summer term the Museum is running "Blitz Experience" and "Trench Experience" activity sessions, suitable for KS2-3, project work and GCSE. Actor-interpreters will take pupils back to World War I and II. Fee: Pounds 30. Details: Education officer, Imperial War Museum. Lambeth Road, London, SE1 6HZ.
