Questions in the Credit paper covered a good range of material, from dietary targets to evaluation of clothing, and safety in the home.
The main comment fron Lynn Smith, PT home economics at Blairgowrie High, was that the SQA has "upped" the marks in a many questions, giving three marks for evaluation questions where in the past they tended to award only one.
The shift may allow students to gain more credit for their answers, she hopes. Whereas in the past, if they failed to make the three points asked for in a one-point question, they got nothing, even if they had two out of the three correct.
Feedback from pupils on both the General and Credit papers was positive, she said.
