Lyn Dawes had a brief for educational software when he worked for Becta. So his observations (he is now senior lecturer in primary education at De Montfort University), and those of Rupert Wegerif (senior research fellow at the Open University), will attract the attention of primary teachers in their new book Thinking and Learning with ICT: Raising Achievement in Primary Classrooms (RoutledgeFalmer, pound;16.99).
