Rape and robbery?

12th May 2000 at 01:00
EDWARD Sutherland (TESS, May 5) should note that there is no specific legislation preventing local authorities promoting rape, child molesting or bank robbery as positive lifestyles. It is not required. Neither is there any need for Section 2A which purports to bar the promotion of homosexuality as a positive lifestyle. Mr Sutherland should also note that homosexuality is not illegal, unlikethe above activities mentioned in his letter.

And why is he fixated on sodomy? Not all homosexuals practise it and neither is it exclusive to homosexuals. I believe it is an example of the prejudices and cheap shots referred to in your previous editorial.
