ReadyI Get SETTI Go!

8th June 2001 at 01:00
Scotland is to get its own "BETT show of the north" this year, with a new annual conference and exhibition, organised by Learning and Teaching Scotland and Emap Education. SETT 2001 is the name of the free, two-day event, sponsored by TES Scotland, which will be held at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre, Glagow, September 19-20. The idea is to build on a popular National Grid for Learning Day which last year attracted 1,500 teachers. The target for the new event is 3,000-3,500 teachers and education authorities are being encouraged to bus them in from all over the country.
