Real school of rock

29th June 2007 at 01:00
Summer schools might sound boring to your pupils, so why not suggest one that is really designed to rock? Rockmasters is a five-day residential rock course at Stowe School in Buckinghamshire which will take place throughout July and August.

The course is run by Mike Hurst, who played alongside Dusty Springfield in the Springfields before becoming a record producer and discovering Cat Stevens and Marc Bolan.

The course is open to 12 to 20-year-olds, regardless of musical ability, and costs pound;550. For details go to, www.rockmasters.co.uk.
