Contrasting UK Locality Resource Pack is a practical pack for pupils aged 8-10 which extends the work of the BBC Schools programmes Where You Live, Where I Live, to be broadcast in the Zig Zag series in January 1996. Skills covered include using photographs and maps, collecting and using data and making comparisons. Place is looked at through settlement (differences and similarities between urban and rural areas) and care for the environment and rivers.
