Recognising heads' potential

Another 124 teachers and headteachers were presented with the Scottish Qualification for Headship certificate by Cathy Jamieson, the Education Minister, last week, bringing the total to 366 who have obtained the award and another 400 who are working towards it. All new heads must have achieved national standards for the post by August 2005.
