FINALLY, NASUWT's now-past president, Martin Johnson, has been doing his bit for unity. Martin's inaugural speech last Easter - a front-page winning tirade against Tony Blair's elitism - would have been more t home at the NUT conference. But who would have predicted his last official engagement would be at the NUT, where he won a round of applause by addressing the delegates as "sisters and brothers".
