Scottish Science 5-14, from publisher John Murray, provides material for teachers and pupils following the science component of environmental studies. The Royal Bank of Scotland has produced an interactive CD-Rom exploring 300 years of British history. Past Lives - A Royal Bank Account encourages nine to 14-year-olds to study six periods, from the Restoration to the 1960s, by exploring the lives of 30 people associated with banks, such as Samuel Pepys and Adam Smith. Family Ties is a resource pack produced by Family Mediation Scotland for S1-2 personal and social education. With one in five children in Scotland experiencing parental divorce and one in three born to parents who are not married, it aims to explore the issues involved in belonging to a family, the roles, relationships and feelings.
