Resources - Download of the Week - Reading corner signs and posters

26th February 2010 at 00:00

Five star rating

What is it?

A collection of printable and editable resources to create colourful displays in the reading area of the classroom.

How can it be used?

You can use this simple but effective collection of resources to brighten up your classroom or use in the school library, to remind pupils about the joys of reading and the many benefits it has. You could use the posters as inspiration for a class-wide project where pupils design their own posters for display, and in this way incorporate the idea of reading into lessons on art and design as well as English or history.

Why is it successful?

These resources can save teachers a lot of time when making displays for their reading corner. They can also be used as templates over and over again which can be updated with different images and font styles.
