Restoration insight

25th October 1996 at 01:00
Still in celebratory mood after 100 years of cinema, the British Film Institute is holding a free seminar aimed at researchers, students and anyone with an interest in film.

To Preserve is to Show will offer an insight into film restoration and preservation and provide a chance to marvel at the work of film archivists and historians. The seminar takes place at the National Film Theatre on November 1 and reservations should be made on 0171 928 3232.
