I was thrilled to find that the early excellence centres have made a stand over the early-years curriculum. Now I read that headteachers in Kingston upon Thames have done so as well (TES, May 7).
Everything I have written in response to the consultation document was reiterated by all these early-years staff.
We early-years professionals should stand up for our beliefs and let our children have their childhood and self-respect back.
