Ridiculous rewrite;Letter

THE NEAB GCSE English anthology for the new Year 10 cohort has arrived in my staff-room pigeon hole. Only one of the 62 items remains from the previous anthology. Of the two cohorts for which that edition was current, the first were guinea-pigs, while the second have had a better deal.

Now I find I will have to resource my English course afresh once again. Are there other subjects which face such a ridiculous upheaval for two-thirds of their examinable syllabus?
