(Photograph) - OK, so we're all getting used to the ICT resources available to aid us in education, but do we have sufficient knowledge to use these tools to the best effect? Do you know where the best resources to do the job are? George Cole paints the broad picture while others concentrate on key areas and issues

Whenever you think you've got problems buying computers for your school, spare a tought for those such as Makhenkesi Stofile technical high in South Africa's Eastern Cape province. It now has 20 computers, all donated, but had to wait until electricity was connected before they could be used. Internet access is still not available because there are no phone lines to the remote community. Given these problems, maybe lowly dial-up Net connections are not so bad after all.
