Riots: cause and consequence

I am confident that the softly-softly brigade, who have dominated our education system over the last 30 years, have no idea that they bear considerable responsibility for the lawlessness of the young people involved in the recent riots.

They clearly care not a jot for the consequences of their actions, safe in the knowledge that their "rights" are established without them having to recognise their responsibilities.
