Road to success

Dropping objects from motorway bridges on to passing traffic can have devastating consequences for drivers and the culprits, but can occasionally become a craze among young people.

The Highways Agency has launched a free educational pack that highlights the problem and aims to help young people realise the repercussions of such reckless actions. "Throwing it all Away" is available to schools, youth and community projects and can be linked into the key stage 4 citizenship curriculum. The pack is available from www.highways.gov.ukknowledge.
